Kufstein sits among the foothills of the Alps on the River Inn. You'll have time to explore the characterful old town, which boasts some beautifully preserved historic buildings, and it's all overlooked by Kufstein Fortress, perched on a hill overlooking the town. Next we'll visit Thiersee where grassy shores dotted with wooden chalets roll down to emerald-green waters fed by mountain streams. The last stop is Rattenberg, a pretty medieval village that's barely changed over the centuries.

Well in the first instance it would be good if you had informed me that the experience had been cancelled. I waited over an hour to be picked up at the designated spot and no one picked us up or even informed us that the trip had been cancelled. This is totally unacceptable. A complete waste of my day. Please refund the money and inform me of why this happened and what you are going to do about it. I am extremely unhappy with TUI‘s organisation and commitment to loyal customers.

The trip was exceptional. All places we stopped were beautiful and an appropriate amount of time was spent at each stop. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We took the excursion because we had never been to this country before but having talked to people in our hotel we found out that what we paid 40 euros for each was a 10 minute train ride away and it would have been cheaper and easier to go to the place on our own. Part of the experience was walking around a lake in our opinion this wasted an hour of our time, time we could have spent looking at more interesting sites in Rattenburg.

Nice to get off the beaten track and see Austria for real. The lake was a stunning stop. Would have been nice to spend more time there but appreciate that may not be possible.
