Infants (age 0-2): free admission and no ticket or booking is required
The usual opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:30am - 5:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am - 5:00pm. These are subject to change
To reserve a showtime for the planetarium, you'll need to scan the QR code posted in the lobby with your mobile phone as soon as you arrive. The planetarium has limited capacity, and shows may not be appropriate for children under 7 (minimum age: 4 years)

Annually we take our grandchildren to San Francisco for the holidays. The academy of sciences is a favorite of ours. This is the first time I preordered the tickets. It made entry so easy. The attendant scanned my tickets which were downloaded on my phone. We breezed in!
