The 30 members of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra along with two internationally-renowned opera singers, all in magnificent Rococo costumes and wigs, create a very special atmosphere in Vienna's largest and most famous concert halls; the Golden Hall and Brahms Hall. You'll feel like you're at a real Baroque-era concert!

In the style of 'musical academies', as concerts were known in Mozart's time, you'll hear single movements from symphonies and solo concertos as well as operatic overtures, arias and duets from well-known works.

The venues for the Vienna Mozart Concerts are landmarks of Vienna's musical life: the Golden Hall of Musikverein (stage for the New Year's Concert with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra) and the Vienna State Opera.

L'hôtel était très chouette : personnel sympathique et à notre service pour toutes nos questions. Très bien situé : près d'une station de métro (possible de rayonner facilement dans toute la ville). Les informations fournies par Louise nous été très utiles.

Het Mozartconcert in de Gouden Zaal is absoluut de moeite en zou ik iedereen aanbevelen. Alleen zou ik de tickets voortaan direct via de Musikverein kopen. Nu moesten onze vouchers, gekocht via Tui, omgewisseld worden bij de kassa en dat verliep chaotisch. Bovendien werd er geen muziek-CD aangeboden zoals vermeld. Het heeft dus geen toegevoegde waarde om deze tickets via Tui te kopen.

Please note discounts are available for children 5-18 years and students up to 27 years old only with an International Student Identity Card (ISIC). Discount tickets can be collected only while submitting a valid photo ID, if you fail to produce the valid documentation the price difference to the full rate must be paid on location, with no refund possible
The minimum age of participants is 5 years old
The voucher needs to be exchanged at the box office located at the main entrance (Opening hours: 7.15 pm - 8.00 pm)
No obligatory dress code; semi-formal attire recommended
The concerts start at 8.15pm and end at 10pm
