The stunning reefs of the Surin Islands start in shallow bays and continue out into the deep sea, teeming with colourful marine life. On this full day tour, you'll be whisked from place to place in a speedboat, with free time to chill out on paradise beaches and snorkel in the warm and fish-filled waters. What's more, this is an early bird tour, so you'll beat the crowds.

The day kicks off with an early start to beat the crowds. Casting off into Mu Ko Surin National Park at this time though is worth it – there's no better way to see its five luxuriant islands than bathed in mesmerizing morning light.

White sandy beaches and lush tropical rainforests full of tropical creatures are the hallmark of the Surin Islands. And between stops to swim, snorkel and explore, you'll be served lunch. Afterwards, there's a chance to sleep it all off under the sun and experience more of Thailand's top snorkelling spots.

The guide was brilliant and very friendly. He answered a lot of my questions about the area and the Monken people with enthusiasm. I really enjoyed the snorkeling stops and the lunch on the beach was excellent. It may be a good idea to warn people about how rough the speed boat ride is!

We only got 2 areas to snorkel, I thought as it was an early bird there should be more, even on the Similan tour they got one more than us on the Surin tour.

Our guide, Tuk Tuk was friendly and worked hard to inform everyone of plans for the day. The island itself is absolutely beautiful and well worth visiting. A highlight was visiting the Moken villagers, seeing a glimpse into their fascinating world and having the opportunity to see and buy the wonderful array of their handmade goods. A warning must be made about the trip there; the speedboat journey was so bumpy it resembled the most intense theme park ride for 2 hours. Beware people with issues!

Let the tourists take back a bag of plastic and rubbish to the mainland from during. This would have made me feel better. So much plastic. Our guide Ya ta was great ??

We really enjoyed the tour. The islands were amazing, the Moken people were very friendly and even though the speedboat was a little bumpy at times it was still a novel experience. The tour guides were also great - especially Martin who remembered my name for the whole day and even when he saw me on another tour we went on days after when I had only told him once! He made us feel very special and he was very friendly, knowledgable and accommodating to all. Thank you Martin!
