With a panoramic bird's-eye view, you'll spot the lunar-like land around the formidable Mt Teide – the highest peak in Spain. You can also swoop down along the south coast to spot the beaches, ravines and towering cliffs plunging into the sea as well as lots of other surprises along the way. Choose from a range of routes from shorter 8 minute flights, right through to luxurious grand tours.

The staff were really nice and helpful. We thought from the description we would see more than some holiday resorts and a very brief incline up the mountain. The ride was no more than 10 minutes. We should have been made aware of the duration of the flight so we could do a fair comparison to cost.

Helidream helicopters were great, we had a safety talk first, asked if your ok to fly. Taxi from cristianos was about €18 each way. So add that in to your budget. But it was soooo worth it, took the cheapest flight but how fantastic going in a helicopter, they have action cams so you have a record
