Discover the authentic heart of Andalucía in Osuna, a historic ducal town renowned for its elegant Renaissance architecture, noble palaces and rich archaeological heritage.
On day one, your driver will collect you from Seville Airport or the city centre for the one-hour transfer to your hotel in Osuna. After checking in, you'll have the afternoon free to explore the historic town centre at your leisure. Stroll along the elegant Calle San Pedro and continue to Plaza Mayor to soak in its traditional Andalusian charm before settling in for the evening.
Day two begins with breakfast before meeting your guide at El Coto de las Canteras car park. You'll explore this remarkable archaeological site, known as La Petra de Andalucía, a name given by Nobel Prize-winning writer Mario Vargas Llosa. This impressive quarry has been used continuously since the 5th century BC by Iberian, Roman and Andalusí communities. You'll also see sculptural works by local artist Francisco Valdivia Gómez.
The tour continues to Osuna's monumental quarter to visit the Colegiata de Osuna, admired for its imposing baroque façade and valuable religious artworks. You'll then stroll through the historic streets to reach Plaza Mayor and view the exterior of the 16th-century University of Osuna. Your four-hour guided tour concludes in the Colegiata area.
After lunch (not included), your driver will transfer you back to Seville city centre or the airport.
