On the 19th of September 2021 a new volcanic crater was formed near La Palma. The volcano previously known as Cumbre Vieja erupted, completely changing the landscape west of the city. Hiking 6.5km on the newly christened Tajogaite – cracked mountain – you'll almost reach the crater. From here, awesome views of the lava flows and the Aridane Valley open up.

der Vulkanausflug war wirklich gut , aber das Restangebot von Tui (Ganztagestour,Rumprobe,Bootstour und Sternbeobachtung) war sehr überschaubar von der Anzahl ,da ist viel Luft nach oben , habe dann halt bei einen Anbieter gebucht der ein grösseres Angebot hatte und auch gut war.

This excursion was brilliant from start to finish. The 4x4 vehicle was agreat way to explore off the beaten track and made parts of the journey very exciting. The guide was very good and explained all about the recent eruption and its effect on the locals.

Simon our guide was both informative and entertaining we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Die junge deutsche Frau aus Norddeutschland war absolut klasse. Immer erklärt, nachgefragt, über den Vulkanausbruch richtig gut geschildert. Toiletten wären am Anfang nicht schlecht, das ist aber Sache der Verwaltung und nicht der Reiseanbieter.

Sehr eindrückliche geführte Wanderung gespickt mit vielen interessanten Infos über die letzten Vulkanausbrüche.
