Two historical sites that played a role in changing the world are the stars of this half-day tour. You'll cross the border into Spain and visit the Cradle of Discovery Monastery and Muelle de las Carabelas, both in Palos de la Frontera, from where Columbus sailed to the Americas. At the monastery, you'll learn about his voyages and the Franciscan friars who helped him. And just a short stroll away, at the quay, you can see and board full-scale replicas of the three ships on his expedition – the Santa Maria, the Pinta and the Nina. You'll see up-close the cramped conditions the seafarers endured for months on the high seas.

Das die Bus 🚌 Tour nach Huelva 2 Stunden hin und fast 2 Stunden zurück gebraucht hat für 48 km. Dadurch waren wir erst um 15.00 Uhr wieder im Hotel. Sonst war der Ausflug sehr interessant und ich konnte sehr schöne Bilder machen. War ein Erlebnis.

Bei unserem Ausflug wurden wir in kleine Gruppen aufgeteilt (nach Sprachen). Deshalb lief die Verständigung super. Die Guides und Fahrer waren sehr sympathisch.

Our tour guide Maria was fab, very knowledgable about all the history surrounding the tour , really enjoyed the beautiful sites inside the church especially, well worth the trip.

The only negative was the length of travel we did to get there and returning. The driver had to back up on himself both there and back to pick passengers up. Had we travelled straight there it would have taken half the time
