Head off the beaten path in this rugged 4x4, which can access the dusty trails and winding dirt tracks that no normal vehicle can navigate. Drink in the spectacular rural scenery as you take the back roads through the mountains, passing beneath the canopy of sun-dappled forests.

Your expert, local driver will take you through the most unspoilt parts of the region and guide you to some of the quaintest rural villages that the tour coaches will never reach. There'll be plenty of chances for great photo opps, and to stretch your legs along the way, before setting off again on your memorable sightseeing day with a twist.

It was a fantastic laugh from the first minute to the last. However, take a hoodie, sweater or similar to keep warm in the mountains and be prepared to get dusty. Not something for those extremely safety conscious as our seatbelts had to be tied in a knot to offer some level of security, but the driver obviously knew the area well and didn't take any risks. If travelling as a couple, or in a small group it's something very enjoyable to do, but I wouldn't want to take small children.
