Near to the Italian border, the towering peaks of the Julian Alps really are a sight to behold. And on this full day tour, you'll see some of the range's highlights, including the Vrsic Pass, the Trenta Valley, Bovec and the Predel Pass. Prepare yourself for a day of spectacular scenery.

Inspiring the likes of Ernest Hemingway, the Julian Alps never cease to amaze. You'll begin your journey by snaking your way along the Vrsic Pass from Kranjska Gora. With an elevation of 1611m, it's the highest in all Slovenia, affording unbeatable views.

Then, you'll descent into the Trenta Valley, travelling beside the emerald green waters of the River Soca. Stop in Bovec, an elegant and prosperous village nestled in the picture-postcard Soca Valley. Here, you'll be able to find a nice spot for lunch. Afterwards, continue along the Predel Pass, which runs at an elevation of 1156m, back to Kranjska Gora via the world-famous ski jump centre in Planica.

Too many people on the bus. It took too long to get everyone off the bus especially when there was only 10 minutes between stops. The guide was very knowledgeable and talkative. Scenery was amazing. It was a good trip to see a large corner of Slovenia

Ticket ********** Uk ********** Various communications various times one call at 3 am I I found it very stressful dealing with this company ! I should have the reassurance of having someone to help me on holiday not hinder me . Totally just dumped here ! I really hope this service improves as it’s not acceptable for solo travellers . Maybe they should use a professional company like Inghams for vacations ! They are assisted .
