Discover one of Mexico's last best kept secrets on this full day tour. Nestled in the hills of the Sierra Madre mountains lies San Sebastian del Oeste, one of the most important mining towns in Mexico and all of New Spain in the 11th century. You'll get a guided walk of this area, learning all about the original 1605 Spanish miners who traded the region's gold and silver. You'll also get to visit the nearby church, local bakery, and tequila distillery – before wrapping things up tucking into lunch at a traditional restaurant.

We were a party of 4 , We were picked up at the Palace RUI Pacifico at 9:00 A.m. Our bus was a shuttle to down town - we got there around 9 23 A.M. We did not get on the tour bus until around 10:20 A.M. We sat there for an hour. I had to ask for water. We were told that we were supposed to leave around 10:15 . We were totally upset that we had to wait an hour. That is poor service . We shoukd have been picked up at 9:45 a.m. Otherwise the tour was good,

This is a fantastic trip with TB Tours. Our guide Omar was very knowledgeable about not just San Sebastian but also all about Mexico. It's an hour and a half to get there from Puerto Vallarta but Omar kept us entertained the whole way. The lunch was lovely and then Omar took us round the lovely old town which was amazing. A quiz on the way back and a prize even if you came last which we did ha ha. Didn't realse you were nearly back by the time he had finished. Great tour and lots of laughs.
