Discover one of Mexico's last best kept secrets on this full day tour. Nestled in the hills of the Sierra Madre mountains lies San Sebastian del Oeste, one of the most important mining towns in Mexico and all of New Spain in the 11th century. You'll get a guided walk of this area, learning all about the original 1605 Spanish miners who traded the region's gold and silver. You'll also get to visit the nearby church, local bakery, and tequila distillery – before wrapping things up tucking into lunch at a traditional restaurant.

This is a fantastic trip with TB Tours. Our guide Omar was very knowledgeable about not just San Sebastian but also all about Mexico. It's an hour and a half to get there from Puerto Vallarta but Omar kept us entertained the whole way. The lunch was lovely and then Omar took us round the lovely old town which was amazing. A quiz on the way back and a prize even if you came last which we did ha ha. Didn't realse you were nearly back by the time he had finished. Great tour and lots of laughs.

We booked this through the TUI app whilst on holiday. However, throughout the whole experience TUI played no part and was hosted by TB Tours. They and their staff however were 10/10 especially the guide Rosita. She was informative, passionate about the local history & good humoured. It is a bit of a trek to get there by minibus and the remote roads are very bumpy Lunch was very good and we overall had a great time. It's a full day out so take water and comfy shoes. Definitely no flimsy sandals.
