Chichen Itza and Xunaam Cenote tour with a stop in Valladolid

4/5
92 reviews

Three of the Yucatan's star attractions shine on this tour. It all starts with a trip to Ki'ichpam Xunaan Natural Park for a chance to swim in its natural, freshwater cenote. From here, you'll visit the most recognisable landmark on the Yucatan Peninsula, Chichen Itza. You'll explore the grounds and learn about the iconic Mayan temples here, before continuing on to the colourful-yet-quaint town of Valladolid. You'll have some free time here to wander the pastel-painted streets, shop for Mayan souvenirs and hop around its bars and restaurants.

We only were given 1.5 hours to get change swim then change again . Have buffet and get back on the coach. Chichén Itza was great had 2 hours to explore. Valladolid were only given half hour so meant could do anything. For what we paid definitely not worth it. Others has better timings and experience for less than half price

Probably didn't need the stop in Valladolid. Felt like it was just another opportunity for people to try and sell you tequila and it made a very long day a bit too long. Other than that it was a great trip. The cenote was the highlight. I would say this trip is not really suitable for children. There were a few on our trip and I think they found it hot, boring and too long.
