Riding a camel through sandy trails in Cancun might not be what first comes to mind when you're on holiday here, but this family-friendly trip promises to be a hit with the kids. You'll have a quick safety briefing before climbing on for a 45-minute ride. Rounding off the tour is time at Maroma Beach Club to grab a snack and chill on the beach.

The only thing that irked me was not being allowed to use my own camera. Had I been able to, I would’ve flooded my social media with pictures, advertising for free this lovely trip

Everything about the excursion was great. The guides were friendly and good fun. The beach was stunning and we had the option to stay for longer if we’d wanted to.

The camel safari was really good fun, lasting for about an hour. You ride your camel through the Mexican forest to the sea. At the sea you have a short rest - bottles of water are given to you. You then get to feed the camelsA photographer is taking photos the whole time, I found that annoying. On the return you are offered to buy the photos - 95 usd for all or 35 usd for one, very expensive, we took our own. Our TUI bking stated we wld get $10 each for lunch this didn’t happen. Take food+water
