Small Group Tour of Gozo in a Tuk-Tuk

4.6/5
355 reviews

Live life like a local for the day on Malta's sister island of Gozo. Travelling by tuk-tuk, you'll go where coaches can't and explore all her hidden corners – the parts most tourists never get to see. Sanap cliffs, Xewkija rotunda church and Victoria Citadel, are just a few of the highlights of this small group tour.

Boarding the boat from Malta, we'll make the short hop across the Gozo Channel before switching to a tuk-tuk – the best way to navigate the island's narrow streets. With an expert driver-guide filling you in on the facts, we'll tick off a host of must-see sights and a wealth of stunning scenery.

Visit the Dover-esque Sanap cliffs and see the saltpans of the north, alongside plenty of natural wonders. The impressive Xewkija rotunda church and an exploration of Victoria Citadel – the Gozitan capital – add to a long list of highlights on this action-packed island tour.

Great knowledgeable driver Emilio on this trip. Lots of places to visit outside main part of tour due to tuk tuk managing to get down the narrow roads. Time at each place was about right. Managed a 3 course meal, boat trip and cliffs to view aswell as historic facts given and beautiful temples visited.

This trip was great. There were six of us. 1 person had mobility issues but did not have a problem as could stay with the Tuk Tuk when there was some walking. My 2 kids were not very keen on the lunch, but the trip itself was really good.

This trip was amazing - I cannot praise the Yippee team enough. We loved the day especially the swim at the blue lagoon - our family will remember the day forever. Highly recommend!

It was a very hot day and probably wasn’t the best idea. In the 36 degrees heat. We did see the beautiful cliffs and salt beds and stopped in a bay for 35 mins so we could have a dip in the ocean. I think it is a little overpriced . We were picked up from hotel and brought back to hotel in eve which was an excellent service.

Informative, friendly and entertaining Unfortunately, the tour was let down by the lunch provided at a hotel on Gozo. We were told that we would be sampling local Malta dishes but it turned out that the lunch was like being at school with a no choice available: White wine only with no alternative for non alcohol drinkers, two paltry pastry dishes, one main course and ice-cream dessert. Options for those with allergies/vegetarian was an underwhelming salad. Very poor.

The hotel TUI rep was excellent, informative, energetic, positive and enthusiastic. Hotel staff were poor initially, but once management got involved with initial poor service, they were impeccable with a special call out for Joseph. One significant improvement that needs to be made is the transfer, the transfer was poor, zero air conditioning and the driver was erratic and unsafe.
