Small Group Tour of Gozo in a Tuk-Tuk

4.6/5
320 reviews

Live life like a local for the day on Malta's sister island of Gozo. Travelling by tuk-tuk, you'll go where coaches can't and explore all her hidden corners – the parts most tourists never get to see. Sanap cliffs, Xewkija rotunda church and Victoria Citadel, are just a few of the highlights of this small group tour.

Boarding the boat from Malta, we'll make the short hop across the Gozo Channel before switching to a tuk-tuk – the best way to navigate the island's narrow streets. With an expert driver-guide filling you in on the facts, we'll tick off a host of must-see sights and a wealth of stunning scenery.

Visit the Dover-esque Sanap cliffs and see the saltpans of the north, alongside plenty of natural wonders. The impressive Xewkija rotunda church and an exploration of Victoria Citadel – the Gozitan capital – add to a long list of highlights on this action-packed island tour.

Everything about this trip was special, picked up from hotel, short bus to port.. then a power boat over to gozo (15 mins).. We were met by our tuk tuk guide, a chap called Joe.. this man was a legend, so much information and history tales, he took us and 4 others all around the island to all the best spots.. Plenty of time for photos etc.. Dinner was ok, not brilliant but for the price we classed it as a bonus anyway.. Don't think about it, do this trip!! Hopefully you get joe

Ursula was a great tour guide and a very safe driver, we really enjoyed the sites, lunch was good and I would recommend the small boat ride to see the caves, it was well worth the 5euros.

The tour was excellent, Nabel and Emilio were great hosts. Funny and knowledgeable. The only thing that let it down was lunch. The pasta was tasteless.

We loved this experience The only downside was we booked and received confirmation that we would be collected and returned.to our hotel but on the day of the trip our email told us we had to walk to another pick up point. On our return the driver said we would be dropped off at our hotel but then drove past it. As he was on his phone it took a while to interrupt him and get him to stop, leaving us with a fair distance to walk uphill. Not what we wanted after a long day out

It was enjoyable however my husband has mobility issues & he struggled terribly to get in & out of the tuk- tuk. The guide helped as best that he could. (Andrew) We felt that we could have stayed in the capital Victoria for longer, but we know that it is a taster .
