Each of the three overnight stays offers something different. At Ashnil Aruba Lodge in Tsavo East, you'll fall asleep to the sounds of the bush after a day spent crossing vast red-soil plains alive with wildlife. At Amboseli Sentrim Camp, the tented setting places you in the heart of marshland and open savannah, with Mount Kilimanjaro visible on clear mornings. The final night at Salt Lick Safari Lodge is the standout night. Built on stilts above a floodlit waterhole, the lodge lets you watch elephants, buffalo and other animals gather to drink throughout the night, from the comfort of your room or the viewing deck.

The duration of the tour may vary due to weather, traffic conditions and the location of your hotel
Your safari starts at approximately 5-00 am on day one and ends on day four at approximately 6.00-6.30 pm, depending on the location of your hotel

Suitable clothing for the safari, like layers and a hat, remembering that it can get cold after sunset

Yes. This safari is led by experienced, professional guides from Pollmans Tours & Safaris Ltd, a well-established Kenyan tour operator. You travel in a modern, spacious 4x4 vehicle and stay at recognised safari lodges and camps within national parks and sanctuaries. Game drives follow established routes within protected areas. Children under five are not permitted on this tour.

You’ll be away from your hotel for three nights (nights 1, 2 and 3 of the tour). Let your hotel reception know in advance that you’ll be away. You do not need to cancel your hotel booking. Simply inform them of the dates you’ll be out. Your room and belongings stay as normal on your return.

The price includes: hotel pick-up and drop-off in Mombasa, all transport in a spacious 4x4 safari vehicle, experienced English-speaking guide, national park entrance fees, three nights' accommodation (Ashnil Aruba Lodge, Amboseli Sentrim Camp, Salt Lick Safari Lodge), 10 meals (Day 1: lunch and dinner; Day 2: breakfast, lunch and dinner; Day 3: breakfast, lunch and dinner; Day 4: breakfast and lunch), drinking water in the vehicle, game drives as described in the itinerary, and a night safari on Day 3. Not included: an extra transport supplement applies for pick-ups from Kilifi (minimum two guests) or Watamu and Malindi hotels (minimum two guests).

Kenya’s dry seasons, from June to October and January to February, are generally considered the best months for wildlife viewing in Tsavo East, Amboseli and Taita Hills. During these periods, animals gather around water sources and the landscape is drier, making them easier to spot. That said, this safari operates year-round and wildlife is present in all seasons.

No particular fitness level is required. The safari is vehicle-based, with game drives in a comfortable 4x4. You’ll spend most of your time seated in the vehicle or at the lodges. Walking is limited to moving between your room and the dining areas. This tour is suitable for most ages, though children under five are not permitted.
