This exclusive private tour of Kingston and the Blue Mountains highlights the contrasts between urban and rural Jamaica. Among the star attractions are visits to a coffee plantation, Emancipation Park and the Bob Marley Museum.

First, we'll head into the Blue Mountains. Stop for an authentic Jamaican lunch and then tour the Craighton Estate – certified by the Rainforest Alliance – and taste its coffee.

Then, it's on to laid-back yet noisy Kingston. Tour historic sites in the capital's uptown like Emancipation Park – here you'll see the Redemption Song and the Bob Marley statues. At the Bob Marley Museum, you'll see mementoes such as his gold and platinum discs as well as his outfits and instruments.

We booked a tour of 5-7 people. We were the only 2 on the tour. Bonus! Our driver Clinton was a legend. Knowledgeable and lovely. Breakfast stop a traditional Jamaican cafe, saltfish & dumpling. Lush! Kingston, Emasipation park then blue mountains coffee tasting tour. Junior our host, a coffee encyclopedia, fab. Humid climb be aware! But worth it. Lunch was at a local restaurant again amazing food. Finally Bob Marley museum, no words to describe the love, passion for the legend. A must do tour.

We enjoyed blue mountain, Bob Marley museum, capital of Jamaica Kingston tour was very good enjoyed very safe journey with very good lovely lady Khudija, I will recommend driving very safely and guide.

There's only a 17 seconds stop at a park in the city without any information as to what the place is about then back in car to the mountains thus completely bypassing the city. The coffee plantation is a sorry place with only 1 coffee plant as exhibition. Lunch is below every standard and visit to Bob Marley museum is utterly inhumane. 47 people were crowded in one little room. You could feel other persons breath on your face. Also very short museum stay and poorly prepared.

De dag begon zonder gids en bleef zonder gids en er kon ons dus niets in het Nederlands verteld worden. Gelukkig verstaan en spreken we zelf redelijk de Engelse taal. We werden door een chauffeur naar Montego bay gebracht en daar stond een chauffeuze op ons te wachten die ons heel de dag op sleeptouw heeft genomen. Wisten trouwens niet dat het een privé tour zou worden. Wat een geweldige dame. Heeft ons een hoop verteld en een hoop laten zien. Het was een geweldige en inspirerende dag.

Gids was niet komen opdagen maar na het bellen met TUI was het binnen een uur opgelost. Ik heb de privé tour geboekt voor ik en mijn dochter van 23jr omdat ik soms misselijk word in de auto en goed ook want de reis op en af de berg was heftig aan de maag. Ik zag een humming bird van heel dichtbij in Cafe Blue. Bob Marley museum was ook de moeite waard om te zien. De gids was heel attent op comfort en veiligheid. Een lang maar onvergetelijk excursie.
