Luminous Lagoon is aptly named by locals of Falmouth, Jamaica. Discover why on this evening boat cruise. Fruit-punch in hand, you'll set sail slowly along the shore and watch as something magical happens. Like a scene from hit-movie Avatar, the waters around you glow an electric shade of neon blue – a wondrous natural event. A chance to swim here followed by a traditional Jamaican limbo show, makes this a bucket-list must.

Totally mis sold, the pictures show amazing glowing waters, the reality is far from it. The luminosity appears when people swim in the water and is nothing like the pictures advertising the trip! Lots of waiting around and it is basically a booze cruise. The music played far too loud and it is aimed at younger people. The advert is misleading,, the pictures are not true and I would definitely save my money next time. If it was available I would take a refund.

Enjoyed lagoon but considering it's 5 mins from RIU aquarelle & we had to wait from 6.15 to 7.30 pm before going onto lagoon & by time returned the fire show almost finished think this trip is very expensive for what it is. Also our driver left to take others back to their hotel & 4 of us from RIU aquarelle were waiting around 25 mins. I asked manager at lagoon to call our driver "spaceman". When he returned he said he thought we were eating dinner which we weren't we were sitting waiting

We enjoyed the sunset and the time before going on the boat, we enjoyed listening to the guide explaining about the lagoon and the surrounding area. The dip was lovely, felt a little unorganised in terms of how long, photos e.t.c, but still enjoyable. Upon return to the dock, again a bit unorganised as wasn’t sure how long we had after, show had started and could have done with more female changing rooms. Very pleasant evening needs a little tweaking to make it even better
