We took ourselves by train so no coach used. We used the site map and app on a phone to navigate round. Pompeii successfully, and enjoyed visiting the amphitheatre, House of the Veteii and the museum, among other places. Overall a good experience, although it would have been easier to buy tickets on arrival.

Small dogs are permitted inside the archaeological area, but they must be kept on a leash and carried when inside the buildings
The ticket is available on the date booked: please report at the Meeting Point and just show the voucher to the staff.
Business hours from April to September 9:00 - 17:00, October 9:00 - 16:00 (From the last Sunday of the month until the end of the month, the business hours are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM), from November to March 9:00 - 13:00

The audio guide is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Russian
