Important to know

Know in advance:

From 17 June to 14 September 2026, opening hours are 10.00 am - 4.00 pm (the museum is closed on August 15 and 16)
Your ticket entitles you to only enter the City of Science museum, not the planetarium. Admission to the planetarium costs €3. Purchases can be made at the ticket office and are subject to availability
Reduced tickets are available for children (age 3-17) and seniors aged 65 and older
The staff speaks Italian and English. All exhibits are explained in Italian, English and Chinese
Parking is located at a distance of about 250 meters from the ticket office at the City of Science
Guided tours and workshops are included in the museum entrance fee
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm
On the 24th and 31st of December, the museum closes at 2.00 pm
Visit the venue website for the up-to-date hours of operation and to know more about the temporary exhibitions
