Know in advance:

Access to the Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze is included in the tour price and costs €20 for adults aged 26+, €2 for EU citizens aged 18 to 25, and is free for visitors under 18. Additional fees cover the guided tour and other services included in the experience
To confirm your booking, you'll need to provide the following details for all participants: first name, last name, date of birth, passport or ID number, a valid mobile phone number that can receive calls or messages while in Italy, and an email address you'll be able to access during your stay. If any of the required information is missing, your booking can't be confirmed
Although your tour includes skip-the-line entry, access to the museum may still be delayed during busy periods due to mandatory security checks (including metal detectors) and visitor capacity limits inside the museum
The lunch starts at 12.30 pm at Trattoria da Benvenuto and includes a 3-course set menu. Drinks are not included. For infants (aged 0-5), the lunch is to be paid on the spot
In case of late arrival at the meeting point, it will not be possible to join the visit, get a refund or reschedule the guided visit
The guided service may be provided in two languages due to operational reasons
Appropriate clothing is recommended to visit places of worship
The order of the visits may change

Meeting point:

Meet at the corner between Via Ricasoli and Piazza San Marco, in front of the loggiato of Accademia delle Belle Arti. An assistant will be waiting for you wearing blue clothing with Caf Tour and Gray Line logos. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts.

The tour was very interesting and well organized. There was not enough people wanting to do a tour in French this day (I was the only one) so it was in English. But that was not a problem for me. The guide of the morning had an excellent English and knew a lot about Florence and art history. The guide of the afternoon knew also a lot about Florence and art history, and was very friendly. The museums are really great. The Accademia Gallery contains mainly a sculpture of Giambologna (Jean de Boulogne) and serveral ones of Michelangelo, including its David. It is marvellous. The Uffizi gallery contains mainly byzantine and roman works and Boticelli paintings. A lot of other paintings are very interesting too. Definitely worth the price.
