There's nothing quite like lying back and feeling the sea spray as the sun warms your body. And if lazing on deck sounds like your perfect day, then this Thassos cruise is for you. You'll enjoy a day soaking up the views and tucking into a fresh barbecue lunch between swimming stops.

First off, we'll head to the port where your boat awaits. Then you'll set sail into the Aegean. Your captain will strike a course along the coast, giving you panoramic views over the mountains, cliffs and dinky fishing villages. And around midday, you'll drop anchor at a secluded beach – one that's only accessible from the sea.

Dive in and swim in the clear waters, stretch out on the beach or grab a snorkel to check out the marine life. You'll be served a barbecue lunch on deck, after which you'll have more time to sunbathe or swim before sailing homewards. The captain will make other stops for swimming during the trip, too.

Due to wind the trip had to be re-routed. We were only told this once we were already onboard so there was no option not to go. The TUI rep didn't communicate with anyone the whole time. We had a 2 hour journey to a small crowded beach where 4 other boats also pitched up - hardly the secluded coves we had paid for. I gave a rating of 3 for staff as the boat crew worked really hard, I would give them a higher score but the TUI rep was so poor. Value for money got 3 because the lunch was ok.

The ride was pleasant and the swims very good in places and poor in others (marble beach is overrated and had a Crane and a digger on the side of the beach, not so picturesque). We found that the barbecue right at the top of the stairs where punters climb to the upper desk was a health and safety hazard as fat spits onto you as you climb. Also, a hot lump of meat fell nearly on top of our heads when they were cooking it and we were descending the stairs. would add more but not enough characters

The confirmation email stated a pick up time of 8:30, when in fact pick up was 8:15. Only pork/beef unless specifically asked (but this was not made clear, luckily we already questioned) Free drinks we were told would be available were only available at the beginning of the trip, when we asked we were told we had missed out and should have had them at the beginning but we were not told this. Doors on the toilets were not lockable Not clear what to do/where to go after to go home

We were a little worried when our pick up didn’t come on time and it was only my husband and I rather than a large group going as it usually is but we were really pleased when a taxi arrived with 2 other ladies in and he took us right to the port and on the way home took us back to our hotel which saved us a hike so we were really happy with the transport. Trip was well organised and was good to have a TUI rep onboard, the boat staff were really friendly and explained everything perfectly
