You'll pass no end of beautiful coves, caves and beaches on this half-day boat trip along the north coast of Crete. What's more, you'll also enjoy a tasty lunch and stop off for some snorkelling along the way.

Casting off from the historic port of Rethymnon, you'll pass the Venetian Fortezza, where you'll admire the kind of views that make a perfect Instagram upload. With plenty of time to relax on board, you'll catch some rays out on deck as we continue on to the caves of Kefalas Bay – once the spot for plundering pirates to hide their treasure.

Dropping anchor, you'll stop off for a dip in the clear turquoise waters while back on board your hosts prepare a lunch made with the freshest local produce. Beautiful surroundings and top service make for a relaxing day on the waves.

The staff couldn’t help the rough sea which made everyone onboard unwell but the conditions should be explained at booking. Nature of the boat makes it lean and throw its passengers about. It would also help if the staff didn’t all just stand on the top deck constantly smoking / vaping whilst everyone around them is being sick. When you have free time to swim, ensure you are a strong swimmer. Your a good 100mt from any sort of cave and the water is very deep.

A very relaxing trip! Glad we didn't turn up at 8.15 as instructed in the booking since check in/boarding is from 9.30 - 10. Longer isn't needed during low season. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Clear instructions were given for the snorkelling and the staff kept a close lookout on all the passengers so we felt very safe. Lunch was well organised and delicious! We went to a lovely cove with few waves and plenty of fish. Excellent experience!

The trip was fantastic, the smirking brilliant and the staff were very clear with instructions. The food provided was delicious though an alternative for kids would be great. The only issue I had with the trip was you advertise it at the wrong time, your programme says 9.00am and to be there 45 mins before which we did however it doesn’t go till 10, so we had rushed to get there unnecessarily early.
