Quad bike ride in Hurghada desert with Bedouin tea tasting

The quad bikes left most people questioning why they had booked it, and whether they would require back surgery in the near future due to the bumpy and quite frankly awful ride. It’s a 45 minute ride across sand, to a fake Bedouin camp that feels more like a sales exercise than learning anything about the tribe. Countless envelopes were passed round for tips, and you felt obliged to tip as the staff were standing over you. Our recommendation is to avoid at all costs.

Really good fun and good ride well good staff and amazing pics

The quad biking was great fun. The Tour Guide and all the staff around the experience were very friendly. The Camel ride was great although very short would have preferred a little longer ride on the camel.

Experience was good apart from you feel obliged to tip as they tell you not to tip individuals, but then pass round an envelope in full view as ‘shared’ tips.

Very brief explanation of how to start the quad then a few laps on flat sand before our trip began. Remainder of the trip was very bumpy & rocky ground at speed. If you have any prior back injuries-avoid this excursion. Sales pitches throughout - googles, photos, Bedouin items. Temperamental staff.
