Enjoy a complimentary pick-up from the surrounding areas of Tena, setting you off on the jungle expedition. This adventure includes tubing or kayaking down the Arajuno river. Upon reaching an animal rescue centre, you'll have the chance to observe wild animals and contribute to their well-being.
Later, aboard a motorised canoe, you'll visit a Kichwa people where a local family will welcome you. They'll introduce you to the art of blowpipe making, the preparation and tasting of chicha (a traditional beverage), local dances, and the process of extracting fibre from the pita plant.
A packed lunch will be served on the riverbank as you soak in the natural beauty around you. The journey continues to Anaconda Island where you can observe the caiman swamp and try to spot the exotic hoatzin bird. Your day concludes with a drop-off back in Tena.
