Spend the day travelling through the forested Troodos Mountains and discover some of Cyprus' wildest landscapes on this 4x4 tour. See vineyards, waterfalls, mountain villages like Lefkara, pine forests and more.

We'll kick off the action at the impressive Dipotamos Dam for a photo stop. Then, it's onto the sleepy mountain village of Lefkara, renowned for its intricately-made lace and silverware. We'll go a bit off-piste into Mesa Potamos Forest where you can take part in an optional hike, too.

Once you've built up an appetite, a meze-style lunch will be served in a village taverna. Then, we'll head to a beautiful forest waterfall with ice-cold water cascading down 20m. There'll also be a stop for some wine-tasting, followed by a visit to Omodos village, where you can walk through narrow streets and try a Cypriot coffee in a local ‘kafenion'. A refreshing end to an action-packed day.

George Michael was an amazing guide, both funny, considerate, and very knowledgable. There is a lot of driving during the day and I would recommend having another stop during the drive back from Troodos as it was a very long journey on the highway.

The meze lunch could include 1 soft drink instead of wine if you don’t like it. Excluding that it is a great fun filled day, we had a guide called Louis and he was amazing he never stopped giving us information from start to finish he was so informative and great fun aswell. Easily the funniest and friendliest person on the island he deserves more than a pay rise. Can’t thank him and the team enough for making it so special and memorable.

The wine tasting were great, we could try anything the vineyard had without any pressure to buy anything The seats at the very back of the Landrover were a little restricted but George ensured that people switched seats at each stop, so it was not an issue. The views out of the rear of the Landrover

The tour was good and the places we visited were all good. The guide knew his history of Cyprus and was a good host. Our only problem was his driving. We were very uncomfortable with the speed he drove and the inability to stay on his own side of the road especially on blind corners. I would not like to do this tour in the summer. We were asked to inform him if we felt sick, which 3 people did, but no allowance was made for this by slowing down. Overall, it was a god tour.
