Day one begins on arrival in the La Fortuna area, framed by views of the Arenal Volcano. After check-in, the rest of the day is free to enjoy the hotel's thermal pools and gardens or explore La Fortuna, known for its local restaurants, markets, and artisan shops.
On day two, take part in a guided sloth observation walk along forest trails. Led by a local naturalist, the walk focuses on spotting sloths in their natural habitat while learning about the ecosystems that support them. You may also see tropical birds, frogs, reptiles, butterflies, and other native wildlife. The afternoon is free to relax at the hotel.
Day three features a scenic transfer to Monteverde, combining road travel and a boat crossing of Lake Arenal. After arriving in the cloud forest region, enjoy a guided night walk, offering the chance to observe nocturnal animals, amphibians, insects, and resting birds with a naturalist guide.
On day four, enjoy breakfast and a free morning before continuing to your next destination.
