Your day of relaxation kicks off with pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Palmeira, where you'll hop aboard a brand-new catamaran. Setting sail, you'll soon be watching the coastline glide by as your captain cruises along the island's west coast. All you need to do is pick the perfect spot to sit back and soak up some rays – and choose which drink you'd like first. The friendly and knowledgeable crew will be on hand to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Sounds like ultimate relaxation, right? On board, you'll be spoilt for choice with complimentary drinks and snacks, with local music to really get you in the holiday mood. As we approach our idyllic location near Monte Leão, your skipper will anchor the boat, allowing you to take a swim in open waters. After we've dropped anchor, you can also lounge on the nets above the shimmering water – the ideal place to bask in the warm Cape Verde sun.

What is the itinerary for this experience?

This experience is available as a morning or afternoon tour, so the itinerary timings change depending on which one you pick.

Morning option:

- 8:35am to 9:15am – pick-up from your hotel

- 9:30am – arrival at Palmeira, where you'll take a dinghy to your boat

- 10:00am – board your Catamaran, SODADE, and set sail

- 11:30am to 12:15pm – scheduled swimming stop

- 12:30pm – sail back to the harbour

- 1:00pm – start the drive back to your hotel

Rep informed us of itinerary this was not. Kept to. Making trip very short...was also told it is usually half full. It was at. Maximum capacity ...was told no problem getting beds. But these were reserved for. Private tour. Paayee

Not much outside space so you spent most of it inside, I like to do a catamaran trip that is in the Sun to be fair that’s why most people go on a catamaran. The crew were amazing and they absolutely made the trip particularly on the way back where we had great fun and the party atmosphere was fantastic but to be honest I spent most of my time inside in the shade because having to go out on small dingers the first two dingers got all the outside space and the rest of us were just stuck inside

The boat staff were brilliant- the trip ended with dancing led by them and they were attentive overall. There wasn’t much to see with snorkels at the stop to swim but they made sure everyone was safe, offering lifejackets and kept an eye on everyone swimming. On the way back we saw dolphins and briefly a whale’s blow hole. Which was awesome. The downside was the amount of people crammed onto the catamaran. Every available spot was taken and people had to shuffle close for room.

If we had known how many were going to be on the boat wouldn't have booked. Would have been nice to be told the history of the rock. Was more about the alchol than the trip. Best bit was seeing the dolphins. Was not good the kids begging in your face when got back to the coach and rep standing back and not saying anything.
