This guided tour offers a return shuttle service from central London to Stonehenge (including entrance fees to the site) to watch the sunrise amongst the stones and enjoy the festivities of the summer solstice.

Being at Stonehenge for the solstice is a truly memorable experience whether you are a Stonehenge, Neolithic, pagan or history enthusiast. Or maybe you are just interested in seeing what all the fuss is about! Only twice a year, the rare opportunity to see the sun perfectly aligned with the Heel Stone presents itself. On a clear day, you'll be able to see the sun shine right through and into the inner circle itself. Every year, lots of people flock to Stonehenge to witness this magical moment that holds an esoteric significance for some.

The summer solstice also offers the chance for you to step inside the inner stone circle, a privilege not permitted with regular Stonehenge entrance on any other day.

This tour requires a minimum booking of 9 participants in order to run. In the event that the minimum is not reached you will be contacted at least 48 hours before the booked date and issued a full refund
Please remember that you will not be allowed access to the Monument Field with the following items: Alcohol, drugs, large bags or rucksacks (or similar items), sleeping bags or duvets, flaming torches, chinese lanterns, fireworks or candles etc., animals (except registered assistance dogs), camping equipment, (including foldaway chairs, garden furniture, and shooting sticks), BBQs or gas cylinders, glass bottles or other glass objects, trolleys, wheel barrows or any other form of porterage, pushchairs or buggies that are not exclusively used for a child, large “golf-style” umbrellas, gazebos, drones or any kind of remote control aircraft
Children aged 5 to 16 years old are permitted but must be accompanied by an adult at all times, this event, however, is not recommended for young children
Children aged 0-4 years old are not permitted
Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible
Please contact the local tour operator after booking with the full names of all participants in order to allow the guide to roll call guests on departure
