Please dress appropriately, wear sensible shoes and remove hats whilst visiting Westminster Abbey as it is a place of worship
Personal photography is permitted in the Westminster Abbey church (some areas are forbidden) but please do not use flash photography, tripods or take pictures during services
Large items, such as suitcases or large backpacks are not allowed inside Westminster Abbey and there are no storage facilities and any bags with wheels are not allowed inside the Abbey as they can damage the floor
Security checks will take place before entry to the Abbey, your bag will be searched before you go in
Some areas of the Abbey are inaccessible to wheelchairs and visitors with reduced mobility
Assistance dogs are welcome in the Westminster Abbey
The Abbey is equipped with a hearing loop system
