Nach steilen aber vom Tempo recht moderaten Anstieg ging es entlang der Klippe oberhalb der Küste in 300 m Höhe fast eben voran. Gute Erklärungen vom Guide in 4 Sprachen. Der Abstieg durch den Ort führte teilweise über sehr steile Stassen nach unten.

We loved every minute of this hike. Margherita Is a caring and professional guide and took time to check in on everyone at each stage of the hike. Also the driver was very kind and helpful. A great team. Thank you.

Eine der schönsten Trails in Madaira. Festes Schuhwerk erforderlich. Bei Nässe könnte es sehr schlüprig werden.

Our guide, Tim, was very informative throughout the walk, and very conscious of our safety throughout. He even gave advise to other hikers on the trail if he thought they were being a bit casual about their safety! The walk itself is stunning, with breath-taking scenary and plenty of fantastic views. My only advice would be 1) this walk is not suitable for those who suffer vertigo, 2) wear sensible footwear, at the very least decent walking shoes and 3) make sure you have a waterproof jacket!
