One thing for sure, you won't stand in line before the palace gates for hours waiting, but your guide will take you around to be there where the action is happening at the right moment. Unfortunately, this tour is not suited for people with walking disabilities
Keep in mind that during this tour you will not stand at the Buckingham Palace gates to watch the part of the ceremony in the courtyard
In the unlikely event, the ceremony is canceled due to rain, you will watch the Wet Change (guards marching without music)
The reduced family ticket includes 2 adults (age 18+) and 2 children (age 5-17) and requires a minimum of 4 tickets
Students will be asked to show a valid student ID at the start of the tour
The British Army can alter, change or cancel the Guard Change Ceremony at their discretion,
Keep in mind that this tour requires fast-paced walking and the area can be very crowded
A maximum number of 25 people is set per group
This tour will take place no matter the weather conditions, please dress according to weather conditions
Please wear comfortable shoes suited for walking and a bottle of water with you
