Your first stop on this full-day excursion is Murano, where you will visit a local glass factory to discover why the island is renowned for its glassworks. Watch a skilled craftsman demonstrate glass making and enjoy an hour on the island to shop at one of the many glass shops.

Next, head to Burano, known for its lace and brightly colored houses. Follow the guide into the heart of the city and take advantage of 2 hours of free time to buy a good lunch, taste typical Venetian aperitifs, or have ice cream in one of the many bars.

Finally, venture from Burano to Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. Spend an hour of free time when you can go and see the Venetian-Byzantine mosaics at the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta. You will return to San Marco in the early evening.

Burano war richtig bunt und schön. Unbedingt Fisch essen! Torcello war historisch schön. A+++

Ho constatato molta disorganizzazione in fase di imbarco alla zona Stazione. Non c'era personale sul posto ad accoglierci ed era un continuo arrivare di barche per le gite che ci respingevano fino a quando non è arrivata una barca ad un orario diverso da quello previsto che ci ha fatto salire.

Abbiamo avuto una ottima guida Andrea che chi ha spiegato in modo dettagliato l'escursione. Anche gli spostamenti sono stati impeccabili. Grazie
