Tick off a Sicilian must-do on this morning tour to Syracuse. Unravel layers of history while admiring Roman, Greek, medieval and baroque architecture at the Neapolis Archaeological Park, before heading to the island of Ortigia, the historic heart of Syracuse, for a tour around its honey-coloured lanes. You'll also see the UNESCO-protected Cathedral of Syracuse and the Fountain of Arethusa.

I enjoyed the Greek amphitheatre. Ortigia seemed like a lovely place but it felt very rushed there, it would have been nice to have 2 or 3 hours free to explore on our own as there were lots of nice looking restaurants and shops that we didn't get the chance to go in.

I had to pay to use the toilet, I think having toilet breaks would be useful. Also a clear intinery provided beforehand so I know where we’re going next. But it was a really lovely trip, these are minor complaints!
