Experience two of southern Italy's most iconic destinations in a single day with this perfectly planned day trip from Rome. Your adventure begins early in Rome where you'll board a comfortable private minibus to make the most of your time in Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

Discover the ancient ruins of Pompeii alongside an expert archaeologist guide. You'll explore this once-thriving Roman city, perfectly preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, in a small group of 18 people maximum. Walk the same streets as Romans once did before the daytime crowds arrive, peeking into shops, temples, and even a brothel, each frozen in time.

After your visit to Pompeii, you'll hop back on the bus for a scenic drive along the Amalfi Coast, widely regarded as one of the world's most spectacular stretches of coastline. Head straight to Positano (April through October), where you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore on your own.
