The walking tour starts from the Basilica of Santa Croce, a jewel of Baroque Lecce, and continues to the Palazzo del Sedile, the Roman Column and the impressive Amphitheater in Piazza Sant'Oronzo.

Walk past the 16th, 17th and 18th-century palaces that line Corso Vittorio Emanuele and reach Piazza Duomo with its monuments - Palace of the Seminary, Episcopal Palace, Bell Tower and Lecce Cathedral - among the finest examples of Italian Baroque style.

Visit the underground Jewish Museum of Palazzo Taurino, located in the heart of the city on the remains of an ancient Synagogue. In the basement of the palace, you'll discover more about medieval Lecce on a journey through the unexplored history of the city.
