Explore Banff National Park on a guided day tour from Calgary with Calgary Tours. Travel through the Canadian Rockies and stop at Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and Hoodoos Viewpoint for mountain scenery and photos. Enjoy approximately 90 minutes of free time in Banff town for lunch, shopping or a stroll.

Through October 12, explore Johnston Canyon for approximately 60 minutes, following forest paths and catwalks toward its waterfalls. From October 13 through April, the canyon visit is replaced by Cascade of Time Garden and Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Cave and Basin admission is optional and costs extra.

The tour also stops for approximately 90 minutes at the Banff Gondola area. Purchase optional admission to ascend Sulphur Mountain, or enjoy the area independently. If the gondola is closed, the itinerary visits Mt. Norquay Viewpoint and Vermilion Lakes instead.

Nice mix of what the mountains can offer: landscape, lovely town and waterfalls. I would have liked to have had an itinerary beforehand. We did bring our own lunch as we did not know we would be in Banff around lunch time.
