Discover Florianópolis with a professional guide. The city is known in Brazil as the Island of Magic. Its breathtaking beaches are a paradise to surfers and beachgoers alike. Here you will find a lot of history as well as some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Explore the historic center of Florianópolis, enjoy the view from the Hercílio Light Lookout and revel in Joaquina Beach, Conceição Lagoon, Barra da Lagoa, and north of the island.

Admire the little yellow metropolitan cathedral of the city, the Praça Novembro XV (15th of November Square, named after the date in which the republic was proclaimed), the imposing Palace Cruz e Souza (which now houses the historical museum of Santa Catarina). You will also see the Ponte Hercilio Luz, the first bridge constructed to link the Island of Santa Catarina to the mainland. The bridge is now closed for traffic and it is a national cultural heritage.

The itinerary also includes a stop in the Lagoa da Conceição, one of the most famous natural landmarks in Florianópolis. The neighborhood houses not only a lagoon but also a few buildings dating back to when the city was colonized and settled. You will visit the lagoon of Conceição belvedere, and then you will pass the Rendeiras avenue, arriving at Joaquina Beach, where various national and world surfing championships take place. Next, you will go to Barra da Lagoa, where you will have free time for lunch (not included).
