Vanuit Olbia slinger je door landschappen met kurkeiken tijdens een tocht langs een paar van de oudste olijfbomen van Europa, de vroegere hoofdstad van Gallura, Tempio Pausania, en een lichte lunch. Ook ontdek je de bijzondere Nuraghe Maiori, kegelvormige megalithische bouwwerken uit de bronstijd. En je eindigt in Calangianus, het centrum van de kurkverwerking, waar je bij Arte Sughero meer ziet over het ambacht van kurk.

We enjoyed the whole experience. The Giude Mary, was really fun and made the day special.

Guide was fantastic and a great communicator . Lunch was really good, plenty to eat and drink.

The range of activities included in the tour, 5,000 year old olive tree, Nuraghi Majaori with pipistrelle bats and a cork factory did not justify the high price. When you add in the pathetic lunch offerings, we were given the vegetarian option as non-meat eaters, starter was a small bowl of ricotta cheese with a spoonful of jam plus 4 small pieces of smoked cheese, the ‘main course’ was a 3cm square of grilled cheeses. To add insult to injury, our meat-eating neighbour helped herself to ours too
