Everything it perfectly

This was NOT an adult only excursion. There was a 3 month old baby, (inexcusable) and kids under the age of 13. Drinks were served in Dixie cups. This was a 13 hour day, with one meal. I would have paid more, for less hours for an adult only trip to Barcelo beach and skip the other stuff. Really disappointing.

We booked the most expensive "VIP" tour at our resort, but it felt like a regular group excursion. The Ron Barcelo Island "private" beach was crowded, there was no music or VIP atmosphere, nothing to do, the food was very basic and even ran out for some guests, and the open bar offered only beer, a pre-made mojito from a large 3-liter dispenser, and soft drinks. Beautiful islands, but the experience did not match what was advertised. For this price, I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Only thing we didn’t like was how early we had to be picked up and all the time wasted at the gift shop and rest stop before we got to the speed boat.
