You'll also go off the well-rowed path and explore the city’s prettiest inner canals, to get a sense of the everyday life hidden behind all this medieval splendor.
The boat tour finishes at the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, home to one of the city's most fabulous hidden gems. You'll follow your guide inside the island's abbey for a full tour of its art and architecture, then you'll be given a ticket (optional) to walk up to the bell tower. The view from the top is the very best in Venice and as you look out over the city, your guide will point out sites of interest
Finally, head back to the Doge's Palace where you got on.

- The Bell Tower at San Giorgio Maggiore occasionally closes due to holy days without much advance notice. If time permits, the local operator will notify you prior to your tour. For last-minute closure, you will tour the exterior of the site.
