Lähde Cefalùsta kokopäiväretkelle kahteen Sisilian näkemisen arvoiseen kohteeseen – Etna-tulivuorelle ja Taorminaan. Etnalla, Euroopan korkeimmalla aktiivisella tulivuorella, rosoiset laavakentät sekä musta ja punainen hiekka saavat olon tuntumaan kuin olisit Marsissa. Voit nousta köysiradalla ja jatkaa maastoautolla 2 900 metrin korkeuteen merenpinnasta, josta avautuvat henkeäsalpaavat näkymät yli saaren. Sitten on vuorossa Taormina, viehättävä kukkulan laella sijaitseva kaupunki, jossa on mutkittelevia keskiaikaisia katuja, putiikkeja ja kahviloita. Nauti vapaa-ajasta, jonka aikana voit tutustua historialliseen keskustaan ja ihailla kuuluisaa kreikkalaista teatteria, josta avautuvat näkymät Joonianmerelle.

Please do not allow children under 12 on this tour - with over 3.5 hours each way on coach there are bored noisy and most adult want to have a sleep or enjoy views and hear the guide !!! Also would be good to throw in theatre ticket for the price !! The tour guides were excellent .

Geen duidelijke communicatie ten aanzien van de activiteit. Het bedrag dat je betaald is duidelijk voor de rit naar Taormina en de Etna, maar niet voor het echt kunnen zien van de vulkaan; dit moet duidelijk worden beschreven op de website. Daaropvolgend werd er regelmatig aangegeven dat er dingen tegen betaling gekocht konden worden, daarbij ook flesjes water. Wij kregen er een dwingend en ongemakkelijk gevoel bij. Er werd niet op ons gewacht bij toiletbezoek en onveilig rijgedrag (mobiel).

The tour organizer in the hotel, Rikke Petersen gave us a wonderful experience. She shared every important information with us about the whole tour. But…, on the tour, we had a guide (price included) whose job was only “we stop now” , “we start at…”. From my previous experiences the guide always speaks about the things what we see, and what we have to see on the tour. In this case, nothing happened. We traveled through half of Sicily, we saw lot of beautiful places, but only Google helped us.

A really great experience. Although a lot of travel there and back it was well worth it. Etna was an experience everyone should have.Taomari was also a lovely example of a Sicilian village.
