All participants are required to provide their full names at checkout, exactly as shown on their valid IDs/passports
Pick-up available for selected hotels. Please arrange your pick-up directly with the local operator after booking
You will travel full day with an English-speaking tour leader, but the visit to Pompeii will be held in the language selected at booking
Please note that guided tours may be conducted bilingually if there are fewer than 13 participants per language. French-language tours are available with a minimum of 10 participants; otherwise, the tour will be in English. Portuguese-language tours are available with a minimum of 6 participants; otherwise, the tour will be in Spanish. French and Portuguese options, when available, apply to the Pompeii visit only
The guided tour options include licensed Pompeii guides and headsets for an optimal experience
One piece of hand luggage per person is allowed
Wear comfortable shoes for walking in Pompeii

For info regarding pick-up service feasibility/coverage verification, please contact the local tour operator's booking office. Be ready 45 minutes before departure in the hotel lobby (60 minutes for non-central hotels) // If your hotel is not covered: meet the staff in Viale Giorgio Washington, entrance to the Villa Borghese Park (Metro A Flaminio). Please be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

Absolutely brilliant day. Our guide in Pompeii was hugely knowledgable and really brought to life the work continuing. He pitched the level of information perfectly. The trip to Sorrento was brief but beautiful. The whole trip was well organised and the information shared was fascinating.

Wir wollten in der Zeit soviel wie möglich Informationen über pompeji erhalten. Leider wurde viel zuviel Zeit mit mittelmäßigem Essen vergeudet. Letztendlich haben wir,wie vorher angekündigt, in pompeji keine letzte Stunde zur eigenen Verfügung gehabt. Der Museumsbesuch und ein weiterer Gang durch den archäologischen Park konnte nicht in Anspruch genommen werden. Das war sehr schade, zu wenig pompeji für so einen grossen Zeitaufwand. Vorschlag zur Verbesserung: Lunchpakete verteilen.
