Bei dieser Tour erkunden Sie einen halben Tag lang die hoch aufragenden Gipfel Madeiras. Sie fahren mit dem Geländewagen zu Aussichtspunkten und Bergpässen und beenden die Tour mit einem Halt am Cristo Rei in Garajau, wo Sie den wohl schönsten Ausblick des Tages genießen können.
Die Tour beginnt am Largo do Miranda und setzt sich fort mit einer aufregenden Fahrt hinauf zum Pico do Arieiro auf 1818 Metern, von wo aus sich das Panorama wirklich öffnet. An klaren Tagen können Sie Ponta de São Lourenço, Ribeiro Frio und Paúl da Serra bestaunen.
Anschließend begeben Sie sich auf ein Offroad-Abenteuer durch den einzigartigen und unberührten Wald von Santo da Serra und fahren dann zurück an die Südküste Madeiras, wo Sie die Terrassen der örtlichen Bauern und weitere beeindruckende Aussichtspunkte überblicken können. Nach dem letzten Halt am Aussichtspunkt Cristo Rei ist es an der Zeit, zur Basis zurückzukehren.

Brilliant guided tour, excellent island knowledge from driver/guide and was a fun experience in an old but full of character Land Rover. Wholly recommend this tour!

We have done a similar trip, had open roof. We expected same but it was fixed roof. We were ok but others in back were not. Please just make sure advert is clear to set expectations.

I loved this trip but some of the seatbelts didn't work in the 4 X4. There was enough time at all the sights and the driver was helpful stopping for the toilet and when one of our party was feeling sick. I'm glad I brought a waterproof as you do go up into the clouds and it was cold and damp for a while. We were also glad of our walking shoes don't go in flipflops. The driver could have done with microphone as we couldn't hear in the back and relied on someone else relaying the info

Fantastic tour, lots of stops, diversity of locations, appropriate amount of time at each site, friendly driver, amazing scenery. Driver was a little late picking us up - not his fault, but a text to let us know he on his way would have reassured us. Warning to bring a coat would have been helpful, as it was very cold and windy on the mountain tops!

Antonio (Tony) was a great guide, good company and amusing. We had enough time at our various stops. I enjoyed stopping at a local cafe to sample the local cider. However the younger people on the trip had no cash to pay for their drinks (card payment was not available) and Tony had to pay for them. They also couldn't tip him, which is the courteous thing to do, but I did - so I guess my tip ensured Tony wasn't out of pocket! A bIt unfair on me! People should be told to have cash with them...
