Capitol Hill walking tour and the U.S. Capitol and Library of Congress

Within the U.S. Capitol, you'll join an official tour led by the Capitol Visitor Centre. Here, you'll discover the Crypt (originally planned as George Washington’s final resting place), the grand Rotunda adorned with historic artwork, and National Statuary Hall. Depending on availability, you might also get to see the Old Supreme Court Chamber or the Old Senate Chamber.

Following this, you'll have timed-entry access to the impressive Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress, widely regarded as one of Washington DC's most beautiful structures. Meeting point:

Meet your guide outside the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory at 100 Maryland Avenue SW. Your guide will meet you next to a large planter, outside the conservatory in the Terrace Garden, which is a paved courtyard located right near the Conservatory entrance. The planter is a large, grey urn shape with a small tree inside, and is a focal point in the garden area so easy to identify. Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
