About The Edge, New York

On the 100th floor of New York's sixth tallest skyscraper, you'll find The Edge: a triangular observation deck suspended 1,100 feet above the streets of the Big Apple. It's the highest outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere, promising an adrenaline rush and stunning views. Getting up to the deck is a thrilling experience itself, as the lift will whizz you up in just 52 seconds.

The Edge, located in the North Tower at 30 Hudson Yards, opened its doors in 2020, making it one of New York's newest observation points. A unique feature is its transparent section of the floor, giving the feeling of floating above the city. The deck's glass walls are slightly tilted, so leaning against them is sure to give you extra butterflies.

If you prefer to stay inside, there's also an indoor viewing deck. Whether you’re standing inside or out, you’ll have magnificent views of the One World Observatory, the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and New York’s distant surroundings. You can also enjoy a drink at the bar located on the 101st floor while soaking up the view.
