Whole reason I booked turkey with TUI was to do this trip. Got cancelled twice and only runs once a week so we never went. Bucket list trip on pause because of poor provider

Vorweg: die Gesteinsformationen in Kappadokien sind fantastisch! Generell ist die Information, die man vorab über die Tour bekommt, sehr minimalistisch. Man hat den Eindruck, dass es sich um eine 2-Tages-Reise handelt, aber in Wirklichkeit sind es nur 1.5 - man kommt am zweiten Tag zu Mittag wieder zurück. Ballonfahren (140€/Person im 32er-Korb) oder Ballon-Schauen (50€/Person) sind am folgenden Morgen optional. Wer beides nicht macht, hätte eigentlich schon am Vorabend zurückfliegen können.

The tour overall was good value for money, seeing all the different vallies which were a wonderful sight to behold. Watching all the hot air balloons the following morning was a phenomenal experience which is very special. The hotel and staff at overnight stay were not friendly, food was not great and limited facilities.

Der Höhlenbesuch war Klasse könnte noch länger gehen. Die Ballons mit Jeep Safari waren traumhaft. Das Hotel war ok, nur das Mittagessen im Restaurant war katastrophal, noch nie so schlecht in der Türkei gegessen, das meiste würde stehen gelassen, dort war es unheimlich laut. Das sollte geändert werden. Aber alles in allem eine Lohnenswerte Reise.

Die optionale Ballonfahrt sollte pro Person 260€ kosten. Das ist reiner Wucher bei bis zu 30Personen in einem Korb und insgesamt einer Dauer von nicht ganz 3Stunden von Abholung am Hotel bis zur Rückkehr. Kein Wunder, dass der Preis nicht direkt genannt wird. Die restliche Tour war gut organisiert und hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Es wäre aber schön gewesen, wenn wir im Vorfeld ausführlichere Informationen bekommen hätten, z.B. dass es auch ein inkludiertes Mittagessen gibt oder über den Flug
