Saddle up for this exciting horseback adventure through Gran Canaria's dramatic, volcanic landscape. No matter what your experience level, you'll trot, canter and gallop your way along dusty trails and lunar-like tracks to enjoy all the best views of the island.

Heading to Gran Canaria's premier ranch, you'll be paired with your friendly mount for the day. Beginner or experienced rider, you'll be matched with a horse that suit your skills. Then don your helmet, hop in the saddle and you're off.

Clip clopping in convoy, you'll head down sandy trails and paths, exploring as you go. And if you want, there's a chance to spur on with a canter or trot before heading back to base. A great day out for all the family.

All staff members from hotel collection to our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Upon our arrival we were given a safety talk in both English and Spanish (due to the diversity of our small group) to ensure we understood he do's and don'ts covering our range of experience levels. Horses were selected and introductions made. Guidance continued throughout our ride, time was taken for photographs before returning to base. A fantastic experience that we would do again.

Loved the experience our horses were absolutely beautiful and so well trained. But the horses did like stopping to eat plants which was cute but as a beginner there was some pressure to get the horse moving again as the group would be stuck waiting. The staff were lovely and very patient with everyone who hadn’t experienced horse riding before. Would definitely recommend

Fell in love with Lucha. I was so happy with the choice of horse for me. The ride was hard for the horses, rock and sand, uphill too. The guides were careful to match the rider with the appropriate horse.

The horses were well paired with each person's ability. As a complete beginner with 0 riding experience, my horse "Spaghetti" was great! She knew exactly what she was doing so I hardly had to direct her! The horses seemed well looked after, and was a great experience! The rocky terrain was quite demanding, but the horses knew exactly where to go. 5*

The staff are very good at trying to accommodate all levels of riders. But due to the terrain of the local area, being very rocky, there is not much opportunity to do much more than a walking ride. But if you are happy with a gentle walk, then it's a nice couple of hours.
