The Barcelona Aquàrium is located in the old harbor, Port Vell, and is the world’s largest aquarium and education center dedicated to Mediterranean marine life. It's the perfect place to learn about the seabed and all its different species. You'll learn about them through the 35 Mediterranean and tropical tanks which are home to 11,000 animals from around 450 different species. The most spectacular part of all is the immense Oceanarium, the only one in Europe which is 5m deep and 36m in diameter. A transparent 80 meter long tunnel runs through the Oceanarium and allows you to walk among sharks, giltheads, morays, ocean sunfish and many more species.
With your ticket, you'll also be able to visit the permanent exhibitions, Planeta Aqua and Explora! which show the importance of water in the development of our planet, where children can discover the underwater world using their five senses. Splendido acquario assolutamente però ci aspettavamo qualcosa di davvero eclatante. Personalmente l'acquario di Genova ci è piaciuto più. Lodevole l'organizzazione e la pulizia.

Me encantó el acuario, sin embargo, creo que falta más infografía acerca de las especies que se pueden encontrar en el, ya que quería saber más acerca de su ecologia. Vi a muchos niños y adultos cruzar las barreras de contención y golpear los acuarios, por lo que sería bueno tener más vigilantes
