Monte tukxi tour

We enjoyed everything. The driver explained everything. He knew exactly what was going on. He took us around the older parts of the Town. He was extremely knowledgeable. He shared his love for Funchal and the Island, Madeira. A worthwhile trip..not to be missed.

What a great experience. João Silva, ‘John’ our driver on our Monte Tukxi Tour was excellent! His English was brilliant & throughout our 2 hour tour, his driving was so safe & nothing too much trouble. He took us all over Funchal & his historical and factual knowledge of the city was great. He showed us all the specific places we asked about & took us up the mountain, to do Toboggan run & met us again at the bottom. Such a special way to tour Funchal. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

It was brilliant to see the cobbled streets that would have been missed by a hop on hop off bus. Our guide was lovely and we saw out of the way village and backstreets.
